My guess is that they reload the machine with change when the reload the soda or snacks. I once got some Asian coin (not sure from which country) that was about the size of a quarter. I put it on my bulletin board with two push pins. But I didn't get a Diet Coke that day, and I was sad.
How upsetting was that Red Sox loss yesterday? I mean, you'd think they'd *try* to win, but I guess it's not that much of a priority.
