I have an overwhelming-but-remarkably-calm feeling of dread at the moment. It was hearing about the bombings in London that set it off, but I haven't been able to shake the feeling that at any second something could happen in Grand Central Station and the Met Life Building could come tumbling down. Even as I write this, I don't truly believe that anything will happen--since I, like most, have an immortality complex--but I nonetheless keep getting quick bursts of "enlightenment" that I might not be the one to clean up the mess I left in my room this morning. Sorry to be such a downer, but I needed to get that out and to know that at least one person will read it so that I'm able to accept and ignore the feeling and then get back to work.
I got wireless headphones to wear at work, which--to take a quick 90' turn--makes me unbelievely happy.
