P.S. As a disclaimer: I've read a number of stories in the news and in the "news" recently about people getting fired for blogging. I'd just like to state for the record that 1) despite any day-to-day frustrations inherent in any occupation, I do value my employment and find my employer to be incredibly fair and respectable and that it provides a safe, hospitable, and enjoyable work environment; 2) I write this blog on my own time--during lunch breaks, etc.--and never on the company's time.
