"We run; we jump; we swim and play . . ."

Salute Your Shorts was a favorite show of mine growing up, and I just located the actor who played Sponge in time and space. I found an e-mail address that was (at least) valid in 2003. Horray! Of course, I won't do anything with it, but it makes me feel like a bit of a secret agent. I started off on this odyssey because I found a place that sells Camp Anawanna t-shirts. How great! Now I have a great idea for Halloween costumes!!! (They also sell DVDs of the show (very low-tech) and other Nickelodeon shows.) Bonus: The Adventures of Pete & Pete and Clarissa Explains It All are coming out soon on DVD! Well, the first season of each is, at least.

The LSATs have really begun to clobber me. I'm taking them in June without a review course, and I'm starting to panic.

Also, I've started an experiment: each day, walking to work, I listen to a different genre of music, e.g. blues, folk, classic rock, Christian rock, classical, etc. (Katie, or anyone else who wants to take a stab: is the "etc." redundant in that sentence (b/c of the "e.g.")?) I want to try to determine what effect the music I listen to in the morning has on my mood and my productivity--if any.

Ah, Nickelodeon. I loved Camp Anawanna. :)

(Oh, and I agree with you about the "etc." being unnecessary because of the "e.g.")

Yeah, then I get into a panic about the conjunction. Do you think it should be "e.g. apples, oranges, or radishes?" I guess it could also be an "and" or "and/or." It's funny, but my grammar has definitely gone down the tubes since I left college. Tres bizarre! (Or maybe not.)

Nell, I think you should try Klezmer music.

Oh my goodness! That reminds me: I saw a piece this morning on the news about a Hasidic Jew who raps and sings reggae songs about his g*d! He was amazing! :)
