New Beginnings

Well, if you're still with me, thanks. I appreciate it. :)

I've been busy settling into my new job for the past week. Let's just say . . . I LOVE IT!!! In terms of work, I've been told that I'll be treated as a first-year attorney rather than a paralegal (though I will be the lowest man on the totem pole, so all the administrative needs are mine). Everyone I've met is very friendly (but in a real, not fake, way). I have my own office, which is lovely. In financial terms, my situation is much better: my base salary is much higher, and the benefits are much more attractive.

I started my new position on Monday and really enjoy going into the office. It's also about a half-hour walk from my apartment, which is nice because I can get some exercise and enjoy the fabulous weather (now that spring appears to have sprung).
