Legos and Lawyers

So, this random attorney from my law firm showed up in my dream last night. Another attorney (K) hangs out in my office when he's bored because he's friends with my officemate, Matt. K was telling us how he had gone out with said random attorney (N) the night before and that N's agent had brought along some bimbo who won a contest for Maxim. My ears pricked up a bit when I heard this (N's name, not the Maxim bimbo comment) because I had always thought he was cute, very well-dressed (never seemed to buy into the button-down shirt and dress pants code that every guy at my firm seemed to have a subscription for), and radiating that *something* that's impossible to identify and that makes me want to be his friend even though it would ultimately lead to my stuttering, stammering, and making some comment about printer cables if I ever were to meet him.

In my dream, I was walking to my firm's holiday party from my car (an old sedan with doors that moved like a minivan's sliding ones) with Samm Levine, who played Neal Schweiber on "Freaks and Geeks." N came walking by and said, "We've seen each other a lot, but we've never met," at which point Samm became quite exasperated and walked away. As we were approaching the restaurant, N said, "Everyone else is drunk already. Why don't we stop in here and get a drink first." Then he grabbed me around my waist and kissed me on my forehead. End scene. Tres bizarre and lacking logical progression of thought.

When I woke up, I decided to do a little stalking. I mean, if he has an agent, he must be trying to make it as an actor, comedian, etc. I found out what it is that he does, and my respect for him has more than quadrupled. Yes, it's a little dorky, but . . . I mean, really--let's be honest: this is me we're talking about here. Without further ado, this is his website.
Be sure to read his descriptions of his work. They slay me.

Oh, and I was bored last night and thus "Photoshop-ed" (using MS Paint; hence the quotes <-- Mrs. I would yell at me for the innappropriate use of this word) the pictures of me and Becky on Halloween, making us each Mary Kate Olsen, as we so desired. Neither is all that convincing of a cut, but I think they're pretty funny, so I thought I'd include them anyway.

Yes, a little bit dorky, but he is cute! And I love his descriptions too. Good internet stalking job! You have to meet him.

Yes, and it is quotation marks, not quotes! :)
