Putting the _I_ in "Attitude"
I have never been so simultaneously disgusted and fascinated as I was tonight. This includes looking at my knee-surgery scar. I decided to hardboil a dozen eggs for later consumption, so I turned on the television and got sucked into the worst of reality television: MTV's "My Super Sweet Sixteen." I really can't even comment because I'm still in such shock about the attitudes on these kids. Wow.

i hate My Super Sweet Sixteen. Those are really horrible people. ON the other hand, Date My Mom is possibly the greatest dating show ever made. I love having cable agian.
I've watched (and been sucked in to) My Super Sweet Sixteen. Don't feel bad. I watch that show and think, "What are those parents thinking?"
My goodness--I wonder if I knew any of those types of people/parents growing up. I was very spoiled as a child, but I'd like to think that I appreciated everything more than they did. Katie, have you ever seen "Laguna Beach?" Was that what your high school was like? If so, I have so much respect for you for surviving that and still coming out as such a wonderful person! Some of these parents should take a lesson from yours. :)
I've seen Laguna Beach, yes. And I guess a lot of high schools around here are like that, BUT don't MOST high schools have an "elite," a group of the rich snobbies? My high school wasn't as bad as Laguna, but Orange County certainly has more than its fair share of spoiled-rotten teenagers.
