Well, it seems to be my lucky day: Paris apparently didn't keep my phone number in one of her T-Mobile devices, so I don't have to change my phone number. Seriously, though, despite all the problems that will come of this "hacking" that wouldn't affect the rest of us without a rabid fan base, all of the people in Paris' phone will face one huge problem that we all would as well: with everyone having to change his or her phone number, how will any of them find out the new numbers? In other words, if everyone changes his or her phone number at once, there's no real way to get the word out about what the new number is because most of the numbers you had are no obsolete (which I can't spell)! Quelle pain.
I just had the weirdest moment of surreality (made that word up all by myself): while listening to the broadcast of last week's "Car Talk," I fell in love with one of the songs that they used on the show. I found the singer's name (because they list the artist of all the songs they use on air), and went to her website. It turns out that she passed away the day after her song was played on the show. It's left me feeling a little shaken. Strange--I know, but these types of things always get me, like when you're singing a song, you turn on the radio, and it's being played on the station.
Currently listening to: Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil soundtrack; I have fallen in love with this CD!!!
